About the Author

Rory Olsen was born and raised in the Midwest. His bride of more than thirty years, Trish, grew up in East Texas. They met when Rory was a student at Duke University School of Law.

Rory and Trish have lived in Houston, Texas since 1980. They have one daughter, who is a C.P.A. in Dallas. They also have two cats.

Rory practiced probate and estate planning law for eighteen years before becoming the Judge of Probate Court Number Three, Harris County, Texas in 1999.
